PROCLAMATION OF BANNS OF MARRIAGE-1917
Proclamations are received at the Session-Clerk’s Office
on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 7 to 9 o’clock.
The fee for Proclamation of Banns is 2s. 6d.
Sailors and Soldiers. — When a Sabbath does not
intervene, it shall be lawful for the Minister or Session-
Clerk, with the authority of the Minister, to make the
Proclamation at the door of the Parish Church in
presence Of at least two witnesses on any day of the
week between the hours of 10 A.M. and 4 P.M., and he
shall at the same time post at the door of the Church
a written copy of such Proclamation signed by him,
all which shall be equivalent to Proclamation.
The Certificate of Proclamation, may be granted at
any time after proclamation has been made.
