CHURCH OF SCOTLAND WOMEN’S LABOUR BUREAU. 1907

CHURCH OF SCOTLAND WOMEN’S
LABOUR BUREAU.
The Labour Bureau for Women, 13 Bank Street, is
open from IO to I daily, when, as a rule, women are
waiting ready for work, but those wishing workers with
special qualifications should give as long notice as possible.
We try to send out capable and reliable workers
of all kinds—washerwomen, cleaners, daily servants,
sewers, and upholstresses, etc. The Bureau is not a
Servants’ Registry, but occasionally there are elderly
women on the books who are glad to hear of quiet
situations in town or country. No charge is made to
workers, but employers pay a small fee to cover
postages, etc.
