The Binns Organ

Wilson Black
The 1903 Binns organ in the St Thomas-Junction Road Church was offered to any congregation that would give it a good home. A church in London showed an interest and after inspection of the organ decided it was still in perfect working order, due to a recent major overhaul, and would be ideal to replace their own old organ. During early September workmen carefully dismantled the organ and packed it into a container for its journey to London.
When installed in its new home it will be played again for the congregation of St Stephen with St John in Westminster. So if anyone from St Thomas, Junction Road want to hear the organ again and is visiting London, join in one of their services, sit in the pews and feel content that you have become an organ donor……..
