p.w. 1780/81, 105. Yard yeads to Shirra Brae, D.1827. Probably from George III, m.t.c. 18/1/1792. The street now called Kings Street, at head of Sheriff Brae. At bottom of road from Bonnington to Leith, facing intended new harbour, e.e.c. 11/10/1792.
