ROOTS AND FRUITS
ROOTS AND FRUITS: Retrieving Scotland’s Missionary Story As the centenary of the 1910 World Missionary Conference approaches, the question being asked is why Scotland was the venue for (possibly) the most influential missionary and ecumenical conference of modern times. The answer lies in the strength of the missionary movement that developed in Scotland during the preceding 100 years which this conference will consider, along with developments during the 20th century. 3 October, 10am–6pm, New College, Mound Place, Edinburgh. £10 (including coffee and lunch).
