Open day at archaeological site

AN archeological dig at Flodden is currently taking place and tours of the site are on offer for the public this Saturday, June 6.

The 10-day dig started on May 30, when a team of volunteers from local archaeological and history groups began excavating in the area believed to be the location of the camp of the Scottish amy of King James IV in the two weeks prior to the Battle of Flodden. for more click here
