Unlocking Castle’s history of death and scandal

IN a dark recess in the room where Mary, Queen of Scots had given birth to James VI, workmen made a chilling discovery.

As they were removing a plaster panel from the wall, they uncovered a small oak coffin containing the remains of a newborn child wrapped in scraps of a silk cloth with the initial “J” embroidered in gold thread. for more click here
