Makeover for crumbling tower

A NEGLECTED 14th-century tower that was once used to defend Edinburgh Castle from marauding invaders is set to receive a £55,000 makeover.

The Well House Tower in Princes Street Gardens is now virtually ignored by visitors, but council and heritage bosses hope to make significant improvements to the crumbling ruin. for more click here
