Rebuilding kiln will be worth all the rubble

A MASSIVE pottery kiln which collapsed in a shower of rubble is to be restored after council and heritage chiefs agreed a rescue package.

Work shoring up the remains of the 97-year-old Portobello landmark will start before winter sets in. A conservation team will then step in to begin rebuilding the kiln under the watchful eye of Historic Scotland. for more click here
