The following information is taken from the South Leith Churchyard Tomb register:
No. 22 Minute of Session dated 4th October 1825 (Mr George Young) Charles John, son of George Young, Merchant Leith aged 3 months died the 30th August and buried the 2nd September 1825 in his father’s tomb

Archibald, son of George Young, Merchant in Leith aged 9 years died the 19th buried the 24th December 1832 in the north east corner of the tomb George Young, late Merchant in Leith aged 45 years died the 19th buried the 23rd December 1836 in the centre of the tomb and 3 feet from back wall Transferred to Thomas Hutchison

Minute of Session dated 24th December 1838
Thomas Hutchison, aged 56 years, Merchant died at Hermitage House, Leith 8th and buried 13th May 1852 in his own tomb. North Range, 5 feet south from the north wall Jane Wylie or Hutchison, aged 85 years, died at 28 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh
on 11th October 1889 and buried on 16th October 1889 close to south wall

Alexander W Hutchison, aged 56 years, died at 28 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh on the 23rd and buried on the 26th June 1901 4 feet from south wall of tomb

No other interments in the name of Hutchison buried after 1901, which apply to this tomb.
