Where truth and fiction collide

The clues to Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code led the characters to Rosslyn Chapel. Tourists followed close behind.

There has been a steady growth in visitation, and 2005 was a banner year with 117,000 people finding their way to an adorned sanctuary across from a cow pen on a narrow country road just south of Edinburgh. Before The Da Vinci Code, 38,000 visited the chapel in 2003, according to Stuart Beattie, director for the Rosslyn Chapel Trust. for more click here
