The History of Leith

November 10, 2004

The AyeRight Theatre Group.

Hello there!
We are a small theatre group and we are looking for people to interview, about their most, and least favourite places in Leith.
Do you have any places in Leith that you really love or hate?
Why is this? Do you have particular memories linked to these places? They can be old or new, funny or sad…
We want to record these interviews, (just the sound)
and then make a short script out of them, which will be performed on the end of November in a studio in the Gateway Theatre on Leith Walk.
This show, as well as the original interviews will also be used to create a radio show on Leith fm.
Unfortunately this is a small production and we are unable to pay anyone for his or her contribution,
but we’d love for you to come along and see the performance of the script and to listen in on the radio show.
We are interested in your thoughts, opinions, memories and ways of speaking and we want to hear your real life stories.
With this in mind we would like to portray everyone we interview to the best of our abilities and of course with the utmost respect.

So if you want to hear your words performed, and would like to hear yourself portrayed, then we’d love to hear from you.

All the best,
The AyeRight Theatre Group.
